To facilitate cross-border travel, China has decided to extend visa-free policy to Norway and other countries to 24:00 on December 31, 2026. Citizens holding ordinary Norwegian passports travelling to China for business, tourism, family visit, transit, and exchange purposes with the duration not exceeding 30 days are eligible for visa-free entry. Individuals who do not meet the visa -free conditions mentioned above still need to apply for a visa before entering China.
