On 4 November, Ambassador Zhou Jingxing met with Mr. Masud Gharahkhani, President of the Storting of Norway, to discuss China-Norway relations and exchanges between the legislatures of the two countries.

Ambassador Zhou stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders, China-Norway relations have enjoyed sound and steady development in recent years. China stands ready to work with Norway to promote exchanges and mutual learning between the two legislatures and deepen practical cooperation in all fields to deliver greater benefits to the two countries and peoples.

President Gharahkhani spoke highly of the current state of China-Norway relations. He highlighted the good momentum and promising prospects of the practical cooperation in green transition, marine economy and climate change. The Storting is ready to enhance exchanges with the National People’s Congress to deepen mutual understanding and jointly push forward the friendship and cooperation between China and Norway.
