On October 25,the Guangzhou Foreign Language School Arts Troupe and the Norway Snow Angel Exchange Association jointly held the China–Norway Youth Arts Exchange Concert, under the theme of “Harmonious Resonance of Aurora” in Oslo. Mr. Zhou Ningyu, Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Norway, Mr. Runar Kristiansen, Head of Administrative of Trysil Municipality, and more than 100 Chinese and Norwegian teachers and students attended the event.

In his remarks, Mr. Zhou said that harmony lies at the heart of Chinese culture, while Norwegian society places great value on multicultural coexistence. “Harmonious Resonance of Aurora” vividly reflects the shared commitment of the Chinese and Norwegian peoples to harmony. He expressed the hope that young students from both countries would use music as a bridge to learn about each other’s cultures, deepen friendship, and contribute to the development and prosperity of both countries and to world peace.

The concert featured a varied programme. A western instrumental ensemble showcased youthful energy, a string duet presented Norwegian classic works, and a choral ensemble expressed young people’s aspirations and determination to persevere. As highlight of the concert, the traditional Chinese instrumental ensemble inspired by the spirit of Lingnan, brought southern China’s warmth to the snowy Nordic kingdom.
