On 20 October 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Norway Zhou Jingxing met with Mr. Nils-Ole Foshaug, First Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Storting and the leader of the Troms Branch of the Labor Party.

Ambassador Zhou said that China attaches great importance to China-Norway relations and regards Norway as an important cooperation partner. China looks forward to working together with Norway to steadily enhance exchanges between the two legislatures and deepen cooperation in all fields to the benefits of the two peoples.

Mr. Foshaug spoke highly of China-Norway relations and expressed his willingness to deepen legislative exchanges and cooperation with China.
