Ambassador Yi Xianliang Bids Farewell to H.M. King Harald V of Norway

On December 15, 2022, H.E. Yi Xianliang, Ambassdor of China to Norway, bid farewell to H.M. King Harald V of Norway.

Ambassador Yi conveyed kind regards and new year greetings from President Xi Jinping to King Harald V. Ambassador Yi said that under the strong leadership of President Xi and His Majesty, the development of China-Norway relationship has maintained a good momentum. The cooperation in various fields including economy and trade, winter sports and sustainable development has yielded fruitful results. He expressed sincere gratitude to the royal house, government and people of Norway for their kind support to the Embassy and to ambassador himself. He wished that the two countries will continue to abide by the principles of mutual respect, treating each others as equals and win-win cooperation, and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in order to promote the steady growth of bilateral relations and play active roles for peace, stability, prosperity and development of the world.

King Harald V asked Ambassador Yi to convey his best wishes and new year greetings to President Xi and the Chinese people. His Majesty highly appreciated Ambassador Yi's diligent performance of duties over the past three years and his important contributions to Norway-China relations and the friendship between the two peoples. His Majesty also expressed his readiness to work with President Xi to make sure that the bilateral relations will continue to develop in a sound and stable manner so as to benefit both peoples.
