From May 20 to 21, Ambassador Hou Yue visited Rogaland County, where she met with Deputy County Mayor Mr. Svein Erik Indbjo and Mayor of Stavanger Municipality Mr. Tormod Losnedal respectively.

Ambassador Hou said that China-Norway relations have maintained a good momentum, and green transition has become a highlight of practical cooperation in recent years. Energy is a prominent industry in Rogaland, while Stavanger is Norway's "Energy Capital". China is willing to continue to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with Norway in emerging areas such as energy transition and green technology, promote exchanges and dialogues at the local level, and continuously strengthen friendship between our people.

The Norwegian side stated that openness and cooperation are the cornerstone of Rogaland's development and prosperity. The county has a long history of exchanges with China. Last year, Stavanger Municipality won the "Friendship City Award for Outstanding Partnership with China". We look forward to more Chinese companies investing and doing business in Norway, and welcome more Chinese tourists to visit Rogaland.
