According to VG's report on Jan. 13th, due to the concerns of information security, Norwegian athletes and personnel participating in Beijing Winter Olympics are advised to  "clean up" smartphones and laptops before they travel to China. What’s your comment?

Such reports are totally groundless. China protects the safety of personal information in accordance with its laws. In fact, countries including China have been victims of certain countries’ massive surveillance and cyber attacks for a long time. We urge Norwegian media and organizations concerned to take an objective view on relevant issues, and contribute to a successful Winter Olympics without political interference. China welcomes Norwegian athletes and relevant personnel to Beijing Winter Olympics, and we believe this will be an excellent opportunity to experience a real China.
