I. Visa for Hong Kong SAR of China
There are more than one hundred countries and regions of which people enjoy a visa-free period for visit in Hong Kong for fun or for general business purposes. 1. Norwegian citizens with valid Norwegian passports enjoy a visa-free period of up to 90 days for a visit to Hong Kong SAR for fun or for general business purposes. But for the purpose of education, employment, training, investment, residence or Working Holiday scheme, Norwegian citizens need visas and they are advised to contact the Immigration Department of HKSAR and make the application directly. 2. For citizens of other countries, please visit the Immigration department of HKSAR at http://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/visas/visit-transit/visit-visa-entry-permit.html#part2 to check whether they need visas or not. If visa is required, please submit the application documents directly to the Immigration Department of HKSAR by post or come to the Embassy and deliver the following documents for visa application:
a. Original and copy of passport
b. One completely filled application form for Hong Kong Visa
c. One recent passport-size photo
d. Original and copy of Danish residence permit or visa
e. Financial support documents
f. Travel schedule
g. Other documents required according to different countries and different purposes of visit.
3. For the purpose of education, employment, training, investment, residence or Working Holiday scheme, applicants are advised to contact the Immigration Department of HKSAR and apply for the visa directly.
4. It takes up to 4 weeks to process the visa if the application is made through the Embassy.
5. Please be noted that the Embassy doesn't accept mail-in visa application to HKSAR. Applicants have to come to the Embassy in person.
II. Visa for Macao SAR of China
1. Visas are required for citizens from Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam to enter Macao SAR of the People's Republic of China. However, diplomatic passport holders from the above-mentioned 6 countries can enter Macao SAR without visa.
2. For the citizens of other countries, they can either enter Macao SAR without visa or make an entry permit (visa-upon-arrival) application upon their arrival at Macao. 3. Visa application documents may be submitted at the Chinese Embassy. As all the documents should be sent to Macao SAR government for approval, it takes up to 3 weeks to process the visa.
4. Documents required:
1) One visa application form
2) Copy of the passport or travel document including the used visa pages.
3) Financial certificate, such as bank statement.
4) Employment certificate.
5) Hotel reservation and round trip air-ticket.
6) Certificate of the trip purpose:
a. Tourism: receipt from travel agent and itinerary
b. Visit relative: name, address, telephone number and residence certificate of your relative in Macao.
c. Study: enrollment certificate from the university in Macao
d. Employment: employment permit from the department concerned of Macao SAR
e. Reunion: certificate of residence permit of your relative in Macao and certificate of your relationship.
f. Foreign labor dependence: certificate of residence permit from the department concerned of Macao SAR.
g. Business: certificate for business and invitation from the company in Macao SAR.
7) Copy of the used travel documents to Macao before (if you have).
8) Copy of other countries' valid visa (if you have).
